Been the oldest town in KI Kingscote has numerous heritage buildings including:
. Aurora Ozone Hotel built in 1907
. The old Police Station built prior to 1891
. Island Motel (know as Carnarvon House) built around 1911- 1912
. Old Kingscote Methodist Church (now United Church):

I was lucky enough to have Luca take two of us ( separate travelers ) on a private tour , a customized version of the KI wine tour . This included honey, lavender, wineries and gin. It also included some stunning scenery and location wildlife. Luca was a superb guide, who was knowledgeable and incredibly patient with all our photo taking. It was a fabulous day supporting local producers, eating good food and trying various wines and spirits. We saw a number of beautiful places and had the time to create and enjoy each special moment .

We had this "quirky" tour only few days ago and it was simply brilliant! It is a 3 hours tour and we did visited Bay of Shoals Wines and Kangaroo Island Spirits on board of "Austin", the 1948 Austin van. The van has an interesting story and it has been completely restored. Overall a great value/money and a great tour!
