Boomerang Bike Hire Port Macquarie is a hassle free bike hire system, similar to a vending machine that requires a credit card to unlock a bike – open 24 hours everyday. It’s so easy! At the station control panel, push any key to activate the screen then push button one to rent a bike. Insert your credit card, and choose the hire period. Choose a bike, accept the waiver, grab your bike and go! To hire another bike, repeat the process. Return the bike to same station. The Bike station is located at the entrance to Port Central Shopping Centre next to the Glasshouse Theatre and the Visitor Information Centre (VIC). The eight bike station has six unisex bikes for riders from 145 centimetres tall, two with baskets and four with child seats. Plus two children's bikes for riders over 120 centimetres.
