Temora Aviation Museum

The Temora Aviation Museum has one of the world's finest collections of flying historic aircraft. Established in 1999 the Museum collection includes the only two flying Spitfires in Australia as well as the only flying Gloster Meteor F.8, Boomerang and Hudson Bomber in the world, the only Canberra bomber and the oldest flying Tiger Moth in Australia. The Museum also features air-conditioned display buildings and hangars, allowing close up inspection of the aircraft, mezzanine level overlooking the engineering hangar, landscaped garden, picnic areas, an aviation themed children's playground and a theatrette. The Museum holds an Aircraft Showcase on the first and third Saturday of most months where the aircraft take to the sky, accompanied by commentary and music. Warbirds Downunder is a large biennial airshow which displays Warbird aircraft from all over the country.
