Avoca-on-Darling Hospitality is the Darling's best kept secret. Avoca-on-Darling Hospitality is a heritage homestead complex in the Australian outback offering dinner bed and breakfast or self-contained accommodation at historic Avoca-On-Darling. Built in 1870s of stone and pine logs, the large rooms and high ceilings are characteristic of the period. Wood fires burn brightly during winter and in summer the wide verandas provide shade and views across the lawns sloping down to the river. Extensive gardens, jacaranda and peppercorn trees surround the homestead complex beyond which stand original out-buildings, fruit and vegetable gardens and tennis court.
