The grapes for its wines are grown in the famous McLaren Vale region of South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula - known as one of Australia's most highly regarded wine producing districts. This picturesque region with its Mediterranean-like maritime climate is renowned for the pre-eminent quality of its red wines and in particular its Shiraz wines, which are typically full-bodied, rich and mouth filling.
