Coolmunda Dam

At Coolmunda Dam you can enjoy lots of activities including skiing, sailing, canoeing, bird watching and fishing. Fish species in the dam include Golden Perch, Murray Cod, Silver Perch and Spangled Perch. Fishing permits are available from nearby service stations. Relax under the beautiful shady trees in the picnic area with views out over the water. Pelicans are sometimes seen gliding across the surface of the dam. Other facilities include a boat ramp and wood barbecues (wood is provided). Lake Coolmunda Caravan Park overlooks Coolmunda Dam and has cabins and camping sites available, including some sites along the waterfront.
