This collection display at the Queensland Art Gallery, dedicated to Indigenous Australian art, explores ideas underpinning the Dreaming - or as seminal Australian anthropologist and essayist WEH Stanner posited, the 'Everywhen' - where knowledge and history from all times combine to inform contemporary and future existence. Major works from the Gallery's collection of Indigenous Australian art from the turn of the nineteenth century to the present provide visitors with a grounding in the history, ideas and art of our first peoples and cultures....

Always a lovely visit, something new almost every time, the staff there really do care about the art and know lots about it :) amazing exebition for fair prices and honestly just a lovely day out. I take my whole family there but it's also good for special occasions, there are lots of opportunities to draw and be inspired :)
