Haggerstone Island Resort

Haggerstone Island Guest House is a unique all inclusive privately owned home catering for up to ten guests. Situated at the remote northern end of the Great Barrier Reef, it is adjacent to the uninhabited Cape York coast line. Their daily adventures are included in the accommodation rate and include fishing and spear fishing, snorkelling over pristine coral reef, swimming with manta rays and dolphins, visiting the heritage listed sand dunes of Shellbourne Bay or a nineteenth century ship wreck, exploring uninhabited islands, cays, beaches, bays and the wild rivers of Cape York. Meals are prepared from fresh produce either grown on the island or caught at sea. Lunches are prepared gourmet style on board their 11 metre jet boat Jo Jo. The island is regularly booked as a whole providing a unique group or family holiday. Children are welcome. The new House Mawu is a secluded three bed, two bathroom self contained house overlooking the reefs. Designed and built by the owners, House Mawu has kitchen, lounge, sun terrace with fire place.
