The IPSDM conference is held annually in November and is the premier event for economists and researchers worldwide. The OECD coordinates the annual IPSDM Conference in consultation with an IP office selected to host the conference each year.
The IPSDM conference aims to discuss how intellectual property (IP) data, statistics and analysis are used and can be used to inform decision-makers in both the public and private sectors, and to identify key information needs and possible shortcomings. It seeks to achieve this through informing and shaping a wide range of policy and business relevant issues, using evidence based IP statistics.
The conference will also feature presentations by members of the IPSDM 2016 Scientific Committee and is in co operation with peak bodies and IP offices including EuroStat, Japan, Korea, the UK and US IP offices, the EU IPO, the National Science Foundation, and WIPO....
