MAMA Summer Pop

From the very big to the miniatures MAMA is being taken over this summer by all things pop. This fun, colourful exhibition plays with scale, from enormous inflatable figures, huge plush toys and plastic sculptures, down to teeny tiny figurines telling playful stories. This is an exhibition for the young and young at heart, a delightful romp through the world of pop culture and animation. Underlying the colourful fa?ade, the exhibition explores the attitudes of pop culture consumers and the disposable nature of these cultural artefacts. An original MAMA curated exhibition, Summer POP brings together well-known artists, including Alasdair Macintyre, Christopher Langton and Felipe Reynolds, to create a diverse collection of pop culture images and icons....
