The Comfort Inn Wentworth Plaza Hotel was built in 1928 and faithfully restored back to its original condition in 1986. Today, it's proudly maintained in excellent condition by its Western Australian owner/operators.
The Wentworth Plaza Hotel as we know it today is in fact a unification of three original hotels, The Wentworth, the Bohemia and the Royal Hotels. Together, these three properties bound Raine Square, so named after Mary Raine who bequeathed the property to the University of Western Australia on her death in 1960.
The hotel's exterior has remained unchanged (notwithstanding numerous coats of paint); however the interior has been extensively renovated and refurbished to bring it up to the standards demanded by today's travelling public.
The Wentworth/Royal complex offers a combination of single, double and family rooms, many with private facilities and some with shared facilities for the budget minded. Also available are a number of apartments and two bedroom family suites.
Located in the very centre of the Perth central business and shopping precinct, the Wentworth Plaza hotel is just 50 metres from the Perth General Post Office and the same distance on the overpass to bustling Northbridge - the heart and soul of Perth's nightlife scene....
