Australia Day Award ceremonies will be held in six towns across the Strathbogie Shire. All members of the public are most welcome to attend, with the Avenel Australia Day Award Ceremony to be held at Jubilee Park. The official program will commence at 9:30am with presentations of Australia Day Awards, address from Australia Day Ambassador, flag raising and Citizenship Ceremony. Light refreshments will be provided by the members of the Avenel Bowling Club at the conclusion of the ceremony. Australia Day Award ceremonies will also be held in Euroa, Longwood, Nagambie, Strathbogie and Violet Town....
