Araluen Old Courthouse Bed and Breakfast was built in 1886 during the gold rush era. Guests can enjoy the original courtroom, police room, prisoner exercise yard and two jail s which have been converted to comfortable guests rooms with en suite, sitting area, DVD player, tea/coffee facilities. The original quarters of the resident policemen suits families.
The tariff includes a cooked breakfast and in-house evening meals can be provided upon request. Self-catering is an option in the guest kitchen, housed in the original gold store room. The local pub has a bistro Wednesday to Saturday nights.
